vv2.1

Signal Performance Methodology v2.1

Performance metrics are computed on triggered signals only. R-multiples are calculated using initial stop distance. Win rate excludes expired pending signals. Drawdown is measured in R units across the equity curve of sequential signals. Backtest results use point-in-time data with no lookahead. Shadow and pilot cohorts reflect pre-publication validation periods.

How signals work

Ideas are produced by local, deterministic models. Direction, entry, stop, targets, expiry, and confidence are never written by an LLM.

Bid / ask lifecycle

Entries and stops respect executable side awareness. What you see in Client Zone is informational — execution remains in MetaTrader 5.

Risk & leverage

CFDs are complex and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail accounts lose money trading CFDs.

Trade handoff

The Trade button records an intent and opens MT5 (or your broker deep-link). DB Market Pulse never places orders automatically.

Calendar & news

Economic events are merged from licensed/public sources. Storyteller blurbs use may/could language and do not recommend trades.

Conflicts & disclosures

Performance is methodology-bound by cohort. Optional licensed market context, if enabled, is normalized and gated by Legal/Compliance — it never rewrites idea levels.

Strategy book

Each idea card names a registered template. Tap the strategy name on a signal to read the same summary.

Mean Reversion FX

mean-reversion-fx

Looks for stretched FX moves near session extremes and plays for a return toward fair value when momentum fades.

  • Session range extremes and overextension filters
  • Mean-deviation / RSI confirmation before entry
  • ATR-scaled stops sized to volatility

Momentum Breakout

momentum-breakout-v2

Trades confirmed breakouts when higher- and lower-timeframe momentum align, with volatility-adjusted risk.

  • Higher-timeframe trend direction filter
  • Breakout confirmation at structural levels
  • ATR-based stop placement

Index Gap Fill

index-gap-fill

Targets index gap-fill setups when overnight gaps meet volatility and session-context filters.

  • Gap size measured against recent ATR
  • Session open and liquidity context
  • Volatility regime check before entry

Trend Continuation

trend-continuation

Adds exposure in the direction of an established trend after a shallow pullback or consolidation.

Risk disclosure

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. The vast majority of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Signal levels are informational only — prices may differ at execution. DB Market Pulse does not place orders on your behalf; you must independently confirm all parameters in MetaTrader 5 (or your licensed platform) before trading.

  • Primary trend intact on higher timeframes
  • Pullback to support / resistance structure
  • Momentum re-acceleration before entry
  • Volatility Squeeze

    volatility-squeeze

Waits for compressed volatility, then trades the directional expansion when range breaks.

    • Bollinger / range compression detection
    • Directional bias from higher-timeframe context
    • Breakout trigger with defined invalidation
